Fort Steilacoom Park tournament guide

Field surface: Turf infields
Turf infields. The City of Lakewood's baseball field application lists Field 1 (Pierce College's home field) as full synthetic turf and Fields 2, 3 and 4 as turf infields with grass outfields. GSL Tournaments' field list still shows Ft. Steilacoom as grass/dirt with metal spikes, but the city's 2026 documents are newer and follow its turf-infield project, so we go with the city. (4 baseball fields: Field 1 full synthetic turf (90 ft bases); Fields 2–4 turf infields / grass outfields with portable mounds (60, 70 or 90 ft bases))
Cleats: City turf rules: molded rubber cleats (under 1 inch), turf shoes or running shoes only. Metal cleats/spikes are prohibited.
