Field surface: not yet verified
Not yet verified. The City of Auburn lists four softball fields here but doesn't state the infield surface. The synthetic turf the city mentions at Game Farm is on the two soccer fields. The city's 2020 field-use notice says staff drag, line and water the fields during tournaments, which suggests skinned infields, but that's not a published surface listing. (4 softball fields plus 2 synthetic-turf soccer fields (City of Auburn). The city's 2020 tournament notice says three of the four softball fields are fenced, scoreboards are included and lights are available for a fee.)
Cleats: City of Auburn adult softball league rules for Game Farm Fields 1–4 say no metal cleats. Youth tournaments set their own rules, so check your event.

Stay-to-play: not confirmed
The City of Auburn has limited its baseball, fastpitch and softball tournaments to the Game Farm Park fields (2020 field-use notice). The most recent youth travel tournament we found here is USSSA Washington Fastpitch's Swinging into Summer (10U–18U, Jun 11–12, 2022, with SERA in Tacoma). We didn't find a published stay-to-play requirement. Rules vary by event and organizer, so check your event page before booking.
