Ellensburg Youth Baseball/Softball labels its home location "Rotary Park Grass Fields," which suggests natural grass, but that's not a field-by-field surface listing. (8 diamonds: 4 youth baseball fields, 2 full-size softball fields and 2 full-size baseball fields (MyEllensburg). The four Rotary Youth Fields (Don Schaake, Matthews, The Palace Cafe and Bob Knudsen) got Musco lights in a city project that started in 2022.)

Irene Rinehart Riverfront Park

117-acre city park on the Yakima River with swimming, trails, disc golf, grass areas and picnic shelters. The front gate closes in the evening (as early as 7–9 p.m. depending on the month) and is closed seasonally from November to late March.
